La Dépression positive
VALERY BOSTON – her real name! – has retained from her Martinican origins a zest for celebration and a joie de vivre that is second to none!
This artist with an irresistible smile has worked for over 15 years alongside Véronique Sanson, Benabar, Christophe Willem, Nagui and others, performing both on stage and on TV.
Her first album, La Dépression Positive, gave her immediate recognition in the industry. In 2011, she was awarded a SACEM Grand Prix and a UNAC Grand Prix for her work. She was also the grand prize winner of the 2018 Notes en Verts competition, and the 2019 France Bleu La Rochelle music competition. VALERY BOSTON released her second album, LR, in February 2020.
She then returned to the stage with a new show, accompanied by three talented musicians.
With her beautiful voice with jazzy accents, she tells us about her moods, with amusing French lyrics delivered in an offhand, no-nonsense tone, all set to a musical patchwork of rich, contrasting influences!
Joyful, melancholic, supercharged, or calm, this multiracial beauty is an unapologetic anti-Wonderwoman.
Embodying genres ranging from jazz and modernized musette to funk, and reggae, her rich and colorful music is just like her : FESTIVE and POSITIVE!
