After classical training at the Warsaw Conservatory (transverse flute, piano, and voice), she went on to study Jazz with Anna Serafinska at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. From this rich experience, ZUZA continued to follow in the footsteps of her ancestors, traveling the world to learn and perfect her musical culture.
As a tireless globetrotter, from her native Poland to Europe and the USA, ZUZA practiced her profession as a musician in many ways–teacher, backing vocalist or lead singer–in various classical ensembles and modern music groups.
She then took part in various albums (Kati Salo/Kati Salo, The Privateer/The Traitors…) and continued traveling throughout Europe to accompany Polish artists (Danuta Blazejczyk, Monika Urlik, Yugine…).
Her many collaborations have taken her to festival stages and given her the opportunity to take part in several competitions; in 2011, ZUZA won the Public Prize at the Ourvision Song Contest in Helsinki (Finland).
Now settled in France, on the shores of the deep blue sea, she is taking advantage of a Mediterranean break to unveil her compositions, written during her various travels. She has many inspirations: landscapes, encounters, missing her native Poland, family, and friends.
ZUZA‘s music is tinged with folk, pop, and world music, influenced, and inspired by artists such as Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Nightwish, and Evanescence.
With her first show and first EP, Winter is Coming, written in English and Polish, the fairy-like ZUZA takes us on a fantastical journey with her beautiful voice and hypnotic, magical music full of contrasted atmospheres.
Ethereal, dreamlike pop, driven by an extraordinarily crisp and voluptuous voice!
